Exit

Review

Sometimes, in order to escape a situation, you might need a bit a luck or a bit of je ne sais quoi! Well, in “EXIT” you will need to use your marbles.  It is all about connecting them to their appropriate squares! Beware, your brain might get its hat on, pick up its luggage and run for the exit!

EXIT is a puzzle/casual game where you have to successfully place coloured marbles into their respective coloured squares to complete a stage.

After launching the game, you will arrive on the main screen where you can choose which difficulty and mode you want to play the game. They are two modes of play - campaign and survival. You must complete the campaign mode to unlock the survival. The easy difficulty will give you unlimited time to clear each stage but if you decide to play on the normal or pro, you will have a limited time to complete a stage, which can be quite tricky.

Essentially, what you have to do is to place the red, blue and green colour marbles into the same colour squares as fast as possible and using a limited number of movements. In some of the stages, you might be able to roll over a couple of icons. The 45 icons will give you 45 extra seconds to complete the stage; the green cross will give you an extra life; the coin icon will give extra points.

The difficulty will increase with each stage, which and be both fun and frustrating.

In terms of the gameplay, each stage is like a mini maze where marbles and square colours are located in different places within the maze. A countdown will start as soon as you touch or move one of the marbles. One trick you can use is to analyse the maze and study how to move the marbles before actually touching one of them.

Good 3D graphics and the soundtrack is really fun. I really like the progressive difficulty as you work your way up the stages. Control-wise, it’s ok but I occasionally have difficulty selecting a marble. The great news is that additional content will be available soon and will free of charge to everyone who purchases the game.

Positives

+ Good graphics
+ 60 levels to complete + more to come
+ Fun and addictive
+ Good soundtrack
+ Achievements & trading cards

Negatives

- a bit frustrating at time

Review Summary
