ZEEPOND IS LOOKING TO ADD A NEW REVIEWER TO THEIR TEAM was created by The_Cpt_FROGGY

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are well wherever you are.

I established a website www.zeepond.com a few years ago on the back on of my Steam group, THE CPT FROGGY CLUB! At the start, Zeepond was mostly a promotional site featuring official giveaways from Developers and Publishers. However, I needed more content and started to write reviews. I had a lot of fun learning and expanding my skills as the months and years passed.

Two and a bit years down the track, we are a team of three (old fart gamers) and have published over 420 reviews, approximately 4 to 6 a week.

Not only are we receiving requests through the Steam Curator Connect every day, as well as through our website.

With all of this, our demand has increased, and I am now looking to welcome a new reviewer onto our team.

Want to be part of the Zeepond team?

You will need to . . .

Be willing to expand your knowledge in gaming

Have fluent English

Be prepared to play and review all genre of games

Be aware that Zeepond will own the rights to all reviews published

Be capable of writing reviews with a minimum of 500 words, in our exclusive Zeepond style.

All reviews will be posted on Zeepond first and then on our Steam Curator page. I always acknowledge the author by their gaming pseudo on the Zeepond Review Page.

At this stage, it is purely a voluntary proposition, but my vision is a lot more than that.

So, if you want to be part of a growing website and community, which has over 60k visits per month, don’t hesitate to put your name down below with links to a couple of your reviews!

I will personally contact a short list of applicants.

Thank you for your time and I wish you a fabulous day or night.

THE CPT FROGGY

As you heard, we are currently looking to add a Reviewer to join our Zeepond family. As we are all rather busy right now, especially the Cpt Froggy. I will be taking over the project over for him; then he can concentrate his efforts on some of the many things we have going on right now. Reviewing for Zeepond has been a great experience for me, I took on my position here in August of 2018. I believe I just posted my 50th review for the site. It has been a lot of fun along the way, the Cpt Froggy is a great man to work with along with piston smashed; we have had a lot of fun together. We have remained a small group and shall remain smaller for now; we have reached a point in the evolution of the site, that it is time to look at additional staffing. Are you interested in joining our growing site and family? Start the process by posting below.

We do have some requirements for our reviewers. As I am sure you read Cpt Froggy's statement prior to my own. What we are looking for as a junior reviewer.

1. Have Fluent English.
Your native language is not of importance. As long as your knowledge of writing and speaking in English is good. We are a Global Network, Everyone is welcome to apply.

2. Be able to play any genre.
We cover pretty much every genre on the market to a point.
A love of playing all games is a must. If you do not play all genre's, You will need to be willing to learn; and expand your knowledge in games.

3. Follow our review layout and style.
We do require you to use our format for reviews, You are however allowed to add your own style to them. If you have been following us for any amount of time, you know we all have our own styles. Though we do follow a basic outline for our reviews that must be followed.

4. Reviews are posted on Zeepond & our Curator page first.
All reviews are turned into Cpt Froggy for posting, They are then posted on Zeepond, then on our curator page. Then you're free to post to the store page. Reviews will be checked by an editor and may be posted right away or returned for any edits needed. Credit to the reviewer is always given using your steam pseudo on all reviews posted on site. Zeepond will own the rights to all reviews published.

5. It is a Voluntary Position.
As we a still a young site and group. This is not a paid position, what the future holds is unknown. You do receive all your games for review for free! which is a cool bonus. But the Cpt Froggy's vision for the site is much broader then anyone knows. And we have big plans for the future.

So how many of the tadpoles here would like a chance to swim upstream and be part of a great little family and growing site? I am looking forward to seeing what some of our members can do.

Piston Smashed and I will have you do a test review, we may have a few questions to learn more about you. We will choose the best candidates and the Cpt Froggy will have the final choice from the candidates with our recommendations.

Get started by posting below and I will contact you on the next steps!

Hello Zeepond team!

A bit shame on my part that I haven't thanked you yet for few games I've won, but better late than never I guess. Thank you very much and keep up the great work!

I don't often type reviews, 'cuz "can't be arsed", but when I do they are usually well received. Seriously though, I'm not used to switch games that much - I love to stick with something and become one of the best. I mainly play rogue-lites now and the tougher the game - the better. I'm typical try hard and focus to be on top of the leaderboards on whatever I play. I grew up with NES games (Mega Man being my favorite); SEGA (Mortal Kombat 3 ultimate was my favorite and for brawlers - Golden Axe 3);during the Arcades era like Neo Geo (plenty of different games here, but Samurai Shodown 4 and Cadillacs and Dinosaurs stands up the most); PS1 (Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver and Devil May Cry Series); after I got my first PC I played variety of games: Monkey Island series; Star Craft; Diablo 2; WarCraft 3 (those 3 blizzard games for probably 4000 hours combined) and WoW killed blizzard for me ;]. The games I always went back to though were Quake 1,2,3 and Quake Live (before Steam transition) in which I have combined hours of probably 10k hours, but FPS MP died just like RTS did years ago, except for the rogue-lites FPS games which are SP based. Usually I don't like AAA games after 2010 ... they are worse than indies.

Unfortunately I play on a medium class laptop which is 3-4 years old already, because of work requirements. Although using external like everything... monitor, keyboard and what not I doubt I can play the most new and demanding games properly :).

My profile is completely open so you can see whatever you want and don't take into consideration the Dark Souls "review", because I did that only for the steam nominations and what not badge :D. My Dead Cells review was on top of the reviews in last 30 days for 28 days though.

steamcommunity.com/id/onLooSe/

Recently I've started to work on a youtube channel as well, in my free time of course. I did few first impression videos there, but It's mainly Dead Cells "git gud" channel:

I doubt I'm too suitable for what you require, but hopefully we can work it out.

P.S. Ah... yeah... BTW I won Suicide Guy: Sleepin' Deeply and The Mims Beginning, which I don't need and you can do whatever you want with the keys. Cheers and GL with the curators search.
