I've always been an Nvidia fan boy and pr0ud of it, I'd rather pay the extra than get a ATi.

I got my old desktop back which has the R9 280x (aka the 7970GHZ Edition), but I might try and track down another since for an extra $80/$100 I can double my frame rate and beat an RX 480 rather than forking out a few hundred more $ for the same performance

GTX 1050ti. Insanely good price for performance value. I can play pretty much any game at 60hz without lag.

I have always liked the Nvidia range, i have had several notebooks and computers with ATI cards and always been disappointed when they cook themselves, fail, or simply last 12-18 months.

I have a K2000 with a MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Gaming X 8GB
I run both CAD development as well as programming and gaming thus the mix of models, and its great, wish i had a sealed liquid cooled 1070 but i will live.
