MARIO PARTY SUPERSTARS LAUNCHES FOR NINTENDO SWITCH ON 29TH OCTOBER
Party Like A Superstar – Solo, With Friends And Family Or Online

It’s time to party – Mario Party Superstars, a classic collection featuring boards from the Nintendo 64 Mario Party games and 100 minigames from across the Mario Party series, will launch on 29th October for Nintendo Switch.

The boards have been redesigned for Nintendo Switch and each come with their own unique events. Players just looking for a quick burst of minigames can enjoy Mt. Minigames, which offers seven different courses in total – Free Play, cooperative Tag Match, Trio Challenge, Sports and Puzzles, Survival, Coin Battle and a Daily Challenge.

It’s easy to party anytime, anywhere with online*, same-system** or local wireless*** multiplayer. With online multiplayer, everyone can hop in for a quick session with friends or even a marathon 30-turn match. When partying solo, it’s possible to randomly match with other players worldwide.

Additionally, players can use stickers to communicate with their fellow partygoers while on the board and use the suspend function at the start of each turn in board game mode when playing with friends. That makes it easy to take a break and resume the festivities later.

Mario Party Superstars launches for Nintendo Switch on 29th October. It features five classic boards, 100 minigames, seven play modes in Mt. Minigames and more. All modes can be played solo or in multiplayer on one console, in local wireless mode or online, with friends or other players around the world.

Note to editors:
*Internet connection required during online play. To use online services, you must create a Nintendo Account and accept the related agreement. The Nintendo Account Privacy Policy applies. **Multiplayer requires one compatible controller per player. Additional controllers (sold separately) may be required.

***Local wireless multiplayer requires one console and one copy of the software per player.
