Halo: Reach Available Now with Halo: The Master Chief Collection was created by Piston Smashed™

Today, we welcome players back to the ranks of Noble team as Halo: Reach officially joins Halo: The Master Chief Collection with Xbox Game Pass and for Xbox One, Windows 10 PC, and Steam. Since we announced Halo: Reach and the rest of Halo: The Master Chief Collection are coming to PC, we’ve been thrilled with the community response and collaboration, and are excited the game is now available to play in stunning 4K, over nine years after its original launch. Some of you have been closely involved in making this launch a reality and we hope to have your continued involvement with our Halo Insider program, helping to make this the best experience of Halo on PC!

With Halo: Reach, experience the heroic story of Noble Team, a group of Spartans, who through great sacrifice and courage, saved countless lives in the face of impossible odds. The planet Reach is humanity’s last line of defence between the encroaching Covenant and their ultimate goal, the destruction of Earth. If it falls, humanity will be pushed to the brink of destruction.

If you’re itching to jump into the action today, there are a variety of ways to play across Xbox Game Pass, Steam, and Xbox One. No matter your platform of choice, we look forward to seeing you back on Reach!

PC: The Game You Love, Built for PC
The Master Chief’s saga on PC comes equipped with new features, optimisations, and customisations built for the platform. Halo: Reach looks and plays better than ever at 60 frames-per-second (or greater) with 4K UHD support, and players can fine-tune their experience with a vast array of options, including variable framerate, the ability to rebind mouse/keyboard controls, texture/shadow quality and more.

Players will have a few different avenues to obtain Halo: Reach depending on their platform of choice:
- Xbox Game Pass – Join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta) and get Halo: Reach, the first chapter in Halo: The Master Chief Collection, today. Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST (Campaign), and Halo 4 are also included in your membership and will be available on each game’s respective release date, completing the collection in 2020.

- Microsoft Store and Steam – The Halo: The Master Chief Collection bundle is available today for $49.95 AUD, which will include Halo: Reach and will automatically update with the remaining titles as they launch next year. Halo: Reach can also be purchased individually for $11.45 AUD.

Xbox One: Improved, Refreshed, and Better than Ever
For existing owners of Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Xbox One, the Halo: Reach Campaign, along with Firefight mode, is now available as a premium add-on for $11.45 AUD.

The multiplayer components of Halo: Reach – including PVP modes, Forge, and Theater – are automatically included as part of the base content offering of Halo: The Master Chief Collection at no additional cost via a game update available today. If you’re new to Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Xbox One, you can obtain the entire updated and improved collection with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or with Xbox Game Pass for Console, or purchase through the Microsoft Store for $49.95 AUD.

Looking Ahead
As the team launches Halo: Reach today, we’re already working on the framework and plans to kick off public flighting of the next PC release – Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary – in early 2020. Thank you to the Xbox and Halo communities for going on this journey with us and thank you for partnering with us to make it a reality!

We’re excited to deliver Noble Team’s adventure to Xbox One and PC players and appreciate the community’s ongoing partnership and support through our flighting and development process. This is just the start, and we cannot wait to finish the fight throughout next year as we release rest of the collection in 2020.
