New rules for vouchers (Steam or others) and for AAA Games New releases was created by The_Cpt_FROGGY

Hi all,

Please note that we have added a new regulation to our Giveaway rules.

From now on, winners of all New Releases AAA Games, as well as Vouchers (Steam and others), must complete the following steps.

FOR GAMES:

1. Winners will receive an initial email announcing their win. This email will also provide a couple of instructions that we require before sending them the key and it must be followed.
2. Winners must contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. within 24 hours from the time of the delivery of said initial email. All emails are sent at 2:30 pm Sydney, Australia time. That means that we must receive your email by 2:30 pm Sydney, Australia time the following day. In the instance that we receive your email at 2:35 pm the following day, your prize will be forfeited.
3. Upon receipt of your email we will request that you agree to provide a screenshot showing that once you have received the key, you have then activated the key in your game library.
4. You will receive the key
5. We must receive the screenshot of activation within 24 hours of the delivery email containing the key. Failing to do so will result in your key being revoked and your account will be permanently banned.

FOR VOUCHERS:

Steam Vouchers (Zeegift):

1. The winners will receive an email from This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
2. Winners must reply to the email within 24 hours from the time of the delivery email.
3. Upon receiving the winner's email, we will send a congratulatory email with two tasks to complete (security). Both tasks must be completed within 24 hours of receiving this email. Otherwise, the winner will forfeit his/her prize.
3. Then it will take a minimum of 4 days (Steam requires we must be friends for that time) before I can send you the vouchers.

Please note the following points:

a) Valve has an additional rule in regards to their worldwide stores.
If the currency of the winner's store is 10% above or below the Australian store currency, I will not be able to send you the voucher. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do about this.
b) Due to current events that are taking place in some parts of the world, I will not be able to send vouchers or games to winners who live in some Eastern European countries. This is out of my hands, and I am only notified at the time that I try to send the vouchers/games. My apology to those who miss out on their prizes. Unfortunately, they will be no compensation.
c) We will ask you to provide us with your personal IP address (not VPN or 192.1.1.2), so we can check where you are from. There is no point in faking where you are from, as we will not be able to send you the voucher or game anyway. However, this will be considered cheating, and a permanent ban will be applied.
d) You must have ticked the terms and conditions box on your Zeepood profile. Otherwise, your prize will be forfeited.

Hi all,

Please do not do the following.

One of our latest Zee Gift winners told us that he/she will create a Steam account in Australia and requested us to send the Steam digital voucher to the new account.

I would like to remind you that it is against Steam regulation to create an account outside your country.

Not only did the winner request this on the Steam chat, but he/she sent us an email regarding his/her request.

This is a big NO NO! We have a procedure to follow (see the original thread above) before trying to send a Steam Digital Voucher through the Steam Store. We cannot send vouchers to countries that receive economic sanctions and countries whose Steam store is below or above 10% of our Australian Store.

The result of his/her request was the loss of the voucher, and the user received a permanent banned!

09/08/2022 Additional information:

Turned out to be, that the user in question had a few Zeepond accounts, which is also against our giveaway rules. We knew something was not right!

The moral of the story is to follow the procedure, don't be desperate and don't push le schmilblick too far!

Hello!
I won the voucher from this month but I was not aware in the change of rules. Am I too late?
If so, I understand.

EDIT Since it's my time winning a voucher, I was not sure how it worked (I thought it was the same as regular games). I guess I should be paying more attention to the forum. I'm sorry!
